Some members have asked me for these...

Good morning,

I promised some of the members of this forum that I would provide new "Master" airbase.dat files for Europe and the Mediterranean that include all the latest updates, including airfields by Captain Kurt, airfields by Kdriver, as well as new seaplane takeoff points by Kdriver for my ETO ports.

They are attached to this thread. Please be advised that my distinction between "Early" and "Late" is the end of 1942. These two ETO files are similar, but the Early version is smaller because I do not include the Romanian bases and Ukrainian bases for "Frantic," nor do I include Yagodnik or Peenemunde, because they were not used / attacked during this period.

The MTO airbase.dat files are close, but need a few more updates. I will provide them as soon as they are ready.

I hope this helps!

I know you have to take time to do so if you want to make missions with MB, but is it useful for people who don't make custom missions ? In other word, if you don't edit the airbases.dat file, will you be able to fly missions with add-on airfields or will CFS2 give you a hard time ?

Yes you can - in fact the Normandie-Niemen campaign uses the same ID of 1234 for all the different Soviet airfields featured throughout the campaign.
