Some more PNW!

SOH-CM-2025
I took these on an early morning flight from Port McNeill, which is close to the northern most limits of the PNW scenery, down to Clam Harbor near Orcas Island and that area. Unfortunately, with less than about 50nm to go, the sim locked up and I just closed out the flight.

Besides the airport renovations made by Orbyx and now Ozx_NA, the landclass and improved mesh go a long way to making PNW far better than anything I've seen. Some of these shots are just to show what expertly done landclass and attention to detail can do for FSX. Not everything is photoreal texturing in PNW, but it doesn't have to be to be impressive and immersive.

A few more. I especially shot the pic of the road winding along the shoreline because I felt it showed the attention to detail not normally seen in the default scenery.

You know , I have been going over getting this scenery for a long time now . I may have to bite the bullet after seeing your beautiful screen shots . I am especially impressed with the first one in your second post . I already have REX2 and it absolutely blends in perfect with PNW in your pics .

Geez, I should have recognized it. I didn't realize the airport was elevated on one end like that. Guess I need to spend a little more time exploring. :icon_lol:
