'Some People Like 45's, I like 38 Myself...'

I had the privilege of driving for .38 Special back in the 1980s, while living/working in Jacksonville. Most of the band members, I believe, are from there, and I remember taking them to visit various relatives. Nice guys, all of them, and great performers!

Dude you just took me back ten years!
'99 was my last trip to Sturgis and I was somewhere out in the crowd that night. Was a great show!
Was before the really big crowds starting hitting up the concerts at The Chip.

No bike for me that year though...Did the trip with the van, running rescue rig for a bunch of worn out twinstars and one beat-up ironhead that we sold to some guy from Indiana.

i don't really see .38 special as southern rock, but if you're gonna have a southern rock thread, and you've already mentioned the outlaws (they are awesome) then before you leave florida, someone has to mention the kings of southern HARD rock:

after a few more people post i'll hook you up with more southern rock awesomeness from another of my fav bands who don't recieve the attention they deserve
