Man Prowler, I am really looking forward to this. Easily one of my favorite planes from this era. Sounds crazy, but I simply love the way that plane looks, and always have.

my dad worked on them back in the 60's, he got to work with the first one to hit the west coast. He was a brown shirt:engel016:

bloodyhell, I'll have to have a drive over one day to try it again.. that was sometime ago, I can remember it when my mum and dad used to take us to the miners camp :D

My mum won the donkey derby and I wont the press-up competition, 60 in a minute damn they was good times and guess what I won.. a free bar of chocolate.. must be around 21 years ago now.

We all used to go into the great big hall for our breakfast as a kid, ahh fond memories.

And I met a lovely girl form Cheshire / Warrington, lovely red her she did :) and she dumped me a fat lad..B#tch :icon_lol:

Sorry Ron, well off topic.

That is nice. It will be a real asset to the model.

I have one comment. The green looks too yellow to me. I don't remember seeing so much yellow in the radars. The green seemed to be darker.

Of course, that as many years ago.

yeah I thought it was slightly darker as well, not much, only a touch.... otherwise very good, very very good, will make Greece even more a place i never venture from in sim :jump::jump:

When I was in an A-7E squadron, 1982 -1985, the video on that gauge wasn't green at all, but white. After I left the squadron, the A-7s were outfitted to carry the HARM missile. Among the changes was a new radar display gauge that would also be used to show HARM data. The new one was green, like this one. The screen shot shown here does appear more yellow than it does on my computer. Looks really green on mine. Maybe a screen shot issue. This A-7 will be awesome. Every time I ever sat in the cockpit of our VA-94 A-7s, fixing the radar, or the HUD, or the computer, or INS, I never failed to talke a moment to look around and wonder what it must be like to fly one of them. It never lost that "wow" effect for me. This RAZBAM A-7 is bringing home those memories. Good stuff!!

glad it's stirring memories in more people than just me, it had a wow effect on me just watching the thing as a kid, it really is as i used to describe it like a basking shark, that chin intake and the general shape, i think the airframe as a whole is a beautiful design, i say that but i don't like the F-8 Crusader... go figure...

can't wait to tear out of Souda and Araxos, and fly to Larissa or go play with the Turkish Air Force :icon_lol:
who's left out of the A-7 operators? is it just Greece and Portugal?
