Some shots from Seafair 2025

This first batch is actually from the Jet Blast Bash at The Museum of Flight, where we saw takeoffs and landings. Also saw the show on Friday but still processing those!

My new wallpaper for my 32:9 monitor. Two pics of the Blue Angels starting to taxi stitched together.

Man! I still remember the first pics of the F-16 prototype I saw as a kid. After looking at Phantoms and Starfighters, that thing was pure science fiction!

Small wonder it got the nickname "Viper".

"Viper" was a pilot nickname because Battlestar Galactica. Just like nobody calls the Warthog a Thunderbolt II, F-16 pilots ignored "Fighting Falcon."

I was excited for the demo team's paint job as I built this as a wee lad:

*AHEM* *AHEM* *AHEM*, there's plenty of interest.
Well, okay then!

I'll start with the lowest-quality but most "wow, how did that happen?" pic. The #2 plane dropped out of Friday's show due to mechanical issues and I zoomed way in to see if I could get a pic of it as it orbited over Boeing field. Way in the background, barely visible to the naked eye, a Delta 737 passed behind it, and it ended up looking like they did a head-on pass maneuver. :) Not only did I not realize I captured that until I was processing my pics, but unlike the real head-on passes, I timed the shot perfectly!

One last shot... Not the most spectacular action shot, but notable because on Friday they were flying three two-seaters, including two #7 planes. I think these test-and-development Super Hornets have had some running mechancial issues.

Absolutely outstanding photo gallery of the Blues. I see some shots I'll use for desktop wallpaper. Thanks for sharing your pics. :encouragement:
