• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Some US state airports/cities gone

Here's a puzzler. When I select the states of California through Georgia the city/airport lists do not populate with names from those places in the upper or lower boxes. Other states populate fine, just those six don't generate lists, or rather the lists from the last one that worked stays there. What's up?
 
Two things I would try first:

Make copies of your FS9.cfg (the one in the Documents/owner/application data or what ever directory) and the scenery.cfg in the main FS9 folder. Once you have copies of them both made, delete the scenery.cfg file and start up your sim. You will not have all your add on scenery, but this will tell you if the problem is in the scenery.cfg file or not. If that doesn't get California through Georgia to show, delete the FS9.cfg and fire up the sim to see if that is the problem. If it isn't either one of those things....then I would imagine that one of your BGL files got snafu'd somewhere along the line....and the only way to fix it would be to copy the BGLs (don't ask me which ones) from the install disc (again, not sure which one) and paste them where they need to go (again, I have no idea).

That happened to me for a while in one of my FS installations, then after a little while it was OK again.

I never figured out what that was all about.
