Something a little different....

Well, I was thinking of trying to import Tim's Snowspeeder into FSX to use on Aerosoft's Antarctica. Now I won't have to, since we'll be getting a real snow speeder.:jump:

Where ever did you get those awesome pics?!? I searched all over the net, and only found some of those pics. Many thanks to all:salute:
Pam,
Keep working on the XB-35 if you wish. It will get done. Your work will not be wasted.

You got it Tim.. Will do..
Been looking through the yb-49s POH.. Makes me wonder if Northrop had some kind of kinky liking for over complication..I mean really.. Look at Grumman.. Before Northrop we have the F4F, F6F, F7F, and F8F, then Northrop comes along and what do we get?? The F-14, 2 billion dollar flying wings and the USS Ronald Raygun. Retribution?? ::lol::...

That probably had more to do with 'Jack' and Leroy's retirements in the 50's and 60's from their respective companies. :mixedsmi:

Grumman also made the F-14, a real box of tricks.
Northop made the F-5 series, a very successful smaller simpler fighter. And the two often fought each other in Top Gun training missions.

Judging by the picture of the cockpit that Bomber posted, it looks like the interior lighting might have been a bit excessive...

Definately continue work on the XB-35!!!! I'm really looking forward to it. It's YB-49 brother would also be appreciated, since you mentioned it. Bill

Wow, Tim, that's peculiar and awesome.

I'm surprised one of those never made it into a Bond film...

Tupolev A-3 hovercraft?

Spotted this on the Neva in St Peterburg (Russia). Is this the same Tupolev A-3, the hovercraft version? Sean, what is your verdict?
