Bill Cook first started this model, but due to real life issues it was suspended. I volunteered to pick up the project and try to get it completed and released. It will be a P2V-7, SP2H, and P2V-5 Neptune airtanker package. Ive started with the Aero Union SP2H and completely remapped the aircraft for higher resolution textures. Mind you I am pretty much a aircraft designer rookie myself with only the PB4Y-2 under my belt, but I am giving it my best. I have most of the exterior completed and textured and these are my WIP shots as of now that I thought you all may enjoy. Ill post some updates along the way.

Looking absolutely brilliant so far TG , the Neptune really dose have those rakish good looks , this is one type that also has a New Zealand connection with the "Operation Deep Frezze" program in the late 1950s and early 1960s .

These are indeed sharp looking planes, (more focused on the naval versions, to be honest, but glad the overall type is getting attention in any event).

The peak of their operational zenith with the USN (early 60s) coincides with my favoured sim period/focus, so that's a huge bonus, coupled with the fact that Canada flew these, so there's a natural affinity and interest.

Looking forward to this for sure - will be a keeper, I'm confident.
