Somewhere to fly your Luftwaffe aircraft from

Thanks Ian. Great scenery.

For GW3, use AFCAD and change all the asphalt surfaces except the runways to coral.

It's easy to change but time consuming. I changed my taxiways to gravel and the aprons to brick. Only the asphalt is effected by the GW3 textures. I also added additional parking, a 20 plane AI file, and an eye candy file.

One suggestion for those making scenery, please don't hit the (all) button when making an exclude file. This makes effects inoperative such as smoke, etc. If there is an effect you need to get rid of, a small area should handle it.

Ian, if you would like these files I'll send them to you then you can use, upload, or scrap them, your choice.

Well there is a change, but not the one expected. Obviously the texture is different as well.

Terry could you post a few screenshots? The German WW-II airfields used a lot of bricks. Fliegerhorst Katwijk or NAS Valkenburg as it was called later had a large brick platform, which remained in used ti the eighties. On Soesterberg AFB where I served in the seventies and eighties had a lot of brick work as well.

Cheers,
Huub

Thanks for the screenshots Terry, I like them, but I think I will try something different....

Does any one know whet the texture name is from the textures used on platform and tracks in my second screenshot? Thanks for your help!

Cheers,
Huub
