Sounds idea

Here's an idea for you, Lawdog and everyone else,

Has anyone made sounds for the Caudron C.714 Cyclone?

The engine is a Renault 12R-01 V12 engine.

if anyone asks if I can make them, I don't have the time.

So if anyone has replies, I salute you. :salute:

I could not find any sound references for this engine....could find not detailed specs on it either. The best I could do is take one of Lawdog's V-12 sound packs, remove some bass, change the pitch....basically make a distinct sound pack for the engine....which would most likely sound nothing like the real engine.

OBIO

Obio;
I went to the Wilk and looked up this engine and plane. Take a look at it. It seems to have been very experimental and hard to compare to anything we have.

The website below says this engine was fairly small in cross section but rather long and was fitted with a negative-G carburetor. The early Merlins had carburetors, didn't they? I downloaded this plane recently, I'll be on the lookout for a soundpack if Obio does it,and be interesting to see if someone comes out with Finnish textures.

Hello Moroccan one! I love your country (although I've never been in Casablanca). :)

I didn't know the Ford Trimotor, and it's a very nice plane. A US precursor of the Ju 52.

Oh, ok JP, I thought the coordinates in your profile were your real ones. I mean, not necessarily the airfield itself, but at least the city of Casablanca. :)
