The mini discussion that popped up the other day got me to thinking [Danger, Will Robinson]... :isadizzy:
I decided to to a file search for "Thumbs.DB" in my aircraft archive.
I deleted 370 Megabytes of them after the search.
Thumbs.db files are unnecessary inclusions in most zip files and postings - they can be safely removed to save HD space. If the time is right, or if you're just REALLY bored one day, and you wanna free up [and then defrag] your HD space, give this a shot.
Oh - for folks like me who NEED extra hand-to-eye coordination exercises just to get coffee into the cup instead of on the counter, don't fret - there will ALWAYS be a new upload that has to be "weeded" of its Thumbs.db file(s)....
