• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Spain photoreal fsx

It's freeware. As far as I understand it the images are from some Spanish ministry, free for noncommercial use.

Absolutley fantastic! Downloading right now might take a loooooong time, but I'm sure well worth it.

This is really good as freeware, it is just rather ironic that due to living in Spain (outside a major town or city), there is no way my internet is up to downloading this project. So, I will continue to fly around the UK (with payware photo-scenery, from DVDs), as the default Spain is as realistic as Mars!!

I downloaded the Canaries and immediately found a problem with the height at GCLA. Creating a stub afcad fixed it.

Sorry folks. They have included stub files. Move all files containing "_vacio_" to the FSX Scenery\World\Scenery folder.

In fact, I believe the AFD files included are only the defaults with the height corrected.

What is a Stub file?

It is an empty AFD file which contains only the basic airport information, ICAO, lat, long, height etc. It should be placed in World\Scenery such that it is loaded before the default airport and so overrides the default height.
