Spanish Civil War Missions and/or Campaigns

Hi, gang!

I have a hanger full of a number of aircraft for the SCW ... but I don't recall if there were ever any missions or campaigns for this period.

Part of me says there were and I probably lost them about 2 HD crashes ago (before I got religion about backing stuff up) ... but still ... I can't really remember actually flying anything for that period ... so who knows?

If there were ... might someone point me in the right direction? Or zip something up and let me know and I'll provide my e-mail address?

Thanks in advance!

Kurt Schwabauer did a campaign for the Spanish Civil War. His stuff is right here at the OH, just look under
“Captain Kurt” and you will find what you need. Look through all his files, I noticed there are several regarding the topic. Hope this helps.

:ernae: Thanks, Gentlemen! That did the trick.

Bill, I'm a new guy and can't point you to page this or link that, I have a SCW file of aircraft is 17 meg long, and what is called the "pac nationale'", which is 18 meg plus about 30 individual aircraft. SCW is a major interest of mine. Thanks to the members of the forum, I have the Ju-87 A STUKA, missing from SIMVIATION and sort of hard to find but found thanks to help I got here.

This forum has batted .1000 for me, if there is anything I have you need, just ask.

Cheers and welcome aboard!:ernae:

Thank you Bill. Yes, many these guys got this site and Simviation memorized and I don't have a great deal of time.

Yeah, I like my nightfighters, actually if it flies and carries a gun I like it. I just have my pet scenarios, SCW one of them.

Check six and tailwids all the way bro

When it comes to dogfighting in CFS2, the aircraft of the SCW era are the most fun IMHO. The best balance of power and maneuverability don'tcha see?

I got my joystick fromAmazon and have just played CFS2 for the first time. I've done Quick Combat in all the stock planes and found I'm The Angel Of Death in a Zero.

I too have enjoyed the SCW with CFS 2. The sim handles the flight models very well and there was great interest in it at one time. All in all, there was an interesting mix aeroplanes used in the conflict.

The topic still stirs emotion in Spain to this very day.

I checked my files....I have for SCW-Spain....missions of " Frank Tinker, Yevgenii Stepanov, and Condor Legion Full "....I am thinking that I aquired then from the Spanish Civil War site over at Simnetwork back before they went to Paysite....I am also thinking nothing has happen at that SCW site for at least 5 years......I've tewcked many of the missions so I had Brit, Can volunteers...

Much credit belongs to....Jack Folla and revisions from Capitain Kurt

I made a fairly lengthy campaign for Northern Spain circa the second year of the conflict. My country file and thus my allegiances conflicted with Jack Folla's so I never posted it. I can't do anything with it now, but after I finish this assignment I can always dig it up and sort out the issues with the country file.
