I finally got it done! As promised there are two sets of gvr files. One includes the very best recordings I could cram into a gvr file. The problem with these is performance. They skip a lot of calls that should be played and they do not have the ability to make directional calls (...bearing 225 degrees). The second set is probably more realistic even though the quality of the recordings has been reduced (or because it has been reduced). I found that by keeping the quality of the recordings down CFS2 would use the calls with more often although it still skips some of them.

I really tried hard to put together the best set possible from a functional perspective but still fell short of my goal. If anybody has the time, download SplitGVR from Martin Wright's site, extract the higher quality recordings, then use a free audio editing program like Audacity to try and put together a set that sounds good and plays more often. Maybe this is as good as possible, but I'd like to see if someone can do better. I've been doing this a while now and think I've hit the ceiling when it comes to both quality and functionality.

Don't get me wrong. These do the job and really do give the sim a Spanish feel. Try them out and give me some feedback.

Rami, I am around Spanish speaking teens everyday and I had 15 hours of it in college, so, I thiink I know what you said but I still have to make it clear that yo hablo Espaniol um poco pero no comprendo mucho. I did give it my best but I thought I had found the formula that would make it work as well as the Japanese that comes with the sim but I think I fell short of the mark. Still, it does do what it is intended to do, that is to add a Spanish ambiance to the sim.

Mission, you can thank the makers of Audacity software for the increase in your acting ability. All I did was to increase the tempo of your voice, which made you sound more urgent. It also made the raw wave file smaller so that it would fit into the limited space on the GVR files.

Miamieagle, Russian is on my list although I'd like to take a break and fly the Spanish campaigns now.

Thank you Erufle!

How is the Boeing Wichita factory issue going?

Cheers!
KH
:ernae:[u/QUOTE]

Boeing is leaving and that will not change. Fortunately, other manufacturers like Bombardier are trying hard to hire new workers. Wichita is now almost exclusively a manufacturer of private aircraft and the military work is gone.
