This is a repaint only for the Justflight/Aeroplane Heaven Spitfire package. RK889 was built early in 1944, at Castle-Bromwich, as a high altitude fighter. RK889 eventually went on to serve with RAF 313 Sqdn., a Czechoslovakian group which moved all over England during the war. Later, after WWII, RK889 served with the Royal Danish Air Force where is was involved in a crash landing in 1954. The aircraft was written off, and upon scrapping had only accumulated 399 hours of flying time. This...
