...maybe we can find you soemthing a little more appropriate?
That would be great... of course I felt the huge wince when I posted my "solution" to the ill-mannered PD model!
But not knowing my XIV from my XVI really helps.
I don't believe it's totally my ham-handed flying, either... I have managed to get **Looks in Spares Hangar** over 1,000 flightsim objects off the ground, and often, back again.
There's a crying need for some help here.
And the damn' thing has just lost the ability to drop its bombs - again.
Thought I'd fixed that.
Did these things have Lucas Electrics?

It was that damn gauge that was causing my ctd, I'd forgotten that little tweak when I reinstalled. I'm getting some of the problems you mentoined, don't remember them from before; I looked in ACM and at first glance everything seems kosher - but something has to be wrong. As I've still got a few days before I restart gainful employment I'll give this some attention, we definitely need a better option than the Mk XIV.

Like Jamie said, I have a soft spot for BrunoSK's Spitfire. By far the best external model of a Mk.V the main problem is to get it flying properly in FS2004 as it is a CFS2 model.
As my FS2004 PC crashed I have to find out all over again how I got the CoG correct....... :isadizzy:

But here some pictures as appetiser! BTW there are some very nice repaints available for them, I know RobH did quite a few, but there are more!
ANd perhaps the best thing.... they are freeware!

Cheers,
Huub

Nice pics

I previously got the Sky Unlimited MkVc very cheaply, following Paul Day's link above.
I just plopped the entire FDE onto the BSK visual model.
Handles and looks fine, just a small tweak on the contact points probably.

Now for some of those repaints... any links?

Spitfires? IMHO, the best fighter aircraft ever. Between Aeroplane Heaven, AlphaSim and Paul Rebuffat, I've got more Spitfires (& Seafires) than any other fighter.

I've never met a Spitfire that I didn't like.

All dead I'm afraid, Huub

When you PM me your e-mail address I can send you the repaints by RobH and a silver RAAF Mk.Vc by AGAS5. I have looked everywhere but I couldn't find those by SopwithChameleon. The Dutch 322sqn RAF Spitfires were never finished and therefore never uploaded. But when you want them, I can e-mail them to you as well.

Cheers,
Huub

Thank you Jamie, I'll have a trawl through there...
Ah, page 12 and 15 have some.
Huub, whatever I don't find, I'll email you and ask, thanks.

Wing_z

page 2 has the ones by AGAS5, I almost missed them as they are for the Tropical version.
