Down safe at GSP, once I found the field! Clouds were right down on the surrounding hills, vis was low, and then I lost the signal from the NZ NDB so I wasn't sure I was on bearing. Missed the field slightly to the east, but decided I'd flown far enough so started circling and looking through holes in the cloud. Suddenly it appeared, right beneath me, but no chance of lining up to land so I had to fly a circuit... at which point I lost it again. More circles and then found it, at which point the clouds lifted a little. Phew!

Next leg departing now, GSP to HFD. Probably heading for Wewak on the coast and then following a radial from the NDB to make sure I find this one OK, after my experience at Gusap!

Down safe at HFD. Good visibility in the end, so no problems finding this field.

Had to deal with real life event - left flight on autopilot but ran out of fuel and ditched. Will re-fly from HFD.

Down safe at WAMH. Had a scary moment mid flight when I drained the drop tank but didn't realise. Thankfully I managed to recover it from a stall at around 15,000, re-start the engines and continue the leg. Eeek!

Down safe at RP17 to complete the Tigercat Trip. Tricky approach to the final field, with ceilings around 1000 feet and the sun setting over the hills. Pleased when the airfield came into view!
