I just downloaded and installed the SSW F-104S freeware version. The site says there are repaints available for this bird. There are supposed to be some on the support forum within the SSW site. A search of FlightSim failed to turn any up. Are there any available anywhere else?

SSW F-104 repaints

As noted most cloud9 textures will work. There are some slight mapping issues which show up on some repaints though.
If your cloud9 texture download includes the vc panel texture you should replace it with the SSW one, there was some slight re-arrangment of the instruments between the models.
The cloud9 repaints do not include texture for the extra ventral fins the SSW model has, this is more noticeable on some paints than others.
Finally, I believe there was a slight mapping difference in the canopy frame area which is again more noticeable on some repaints than others.
I ended up with several nice looking varients using the cloud9 repaints.

After downloading the SSW bird and checking into the texture folders, I discovered precisely what you've described - they are identical in most respects to the C9 F-104s. That pretty much obviated picking up the SSW bird, but as was suggested I plan on using the VC texture in the C9 aircraft.
