Star Trek CGI

Eoraptor1

SOH-CM-2022
Here's a demo version of the CGI that went into the last Trek movie, featuring the JJ-prise, the USS Kelvin, and multiple Romulan Warbirds. It was the opening movie from FedCon 2009 and I thought it looked really cool. Go HERE: http://vimeo.com/4474702

Tobias Richter, the animator who put the movie together, has more of his work on display HERE: http://www.thelightworks.com/ This ought to be catnip to a bunch of flight simmers.

I got on to both of these links through the Star Trek fan movie site, Phase II. http://www.startreknewvoyages.com/

There are some very high quality fan made films here, and are free to view or download. IMO, some of them are as good as any televised episode. If the portrayal of "alternative" lifestyles offends you, you might want to avoid "Blood and Fire" so be advisied. I personally liked the episode, especially the proto Miranda Class science vessel.
