Static Planes

I give! Having enjoyed FSX for quite a while, I figured I would dress up the local airport like the old days when warthogs were there. I'm trying SDK and Airport Design Editor, with little success. Can someone direct me to a simple set of directions to place 2 or 3 planes (static) on an airport? Is there a (free?) program that will ease the process? I feel like I'm low on fuel and lost. Any help would be tailwind! Thanks.

Or you may be able to find one of the programs that sets up active planes of the type you want...there are a number that put moving planes both civil and military in world airports with correct livery, marking and more. You can even check the daily flight schedules for arrivals and departures for some of the civil flights with some of them.
