Steps for adding VC

Can someone explain the steps for adding a VC to a native FSX aircraft that doesn't currently have one. I want to add the Honda Jet VC to a prototype aircraft I downloaded yesterday. Basically the same sized aircraft and cockpit configuration.

Here's how I added parts from the default 737 to the TDS models:

1.To the model.cfg add: interior=..\..\B737_800\model\B737_800_interior ,replacing the 737 bits of text with the ones from the correct aircraft.

2.Add a texture.cfg to the texture folder; with contents like this:

[fltsim]fallback.1=..\texture
fallback.2=..\..\..\..\Scenery\Global\texture
fallback.3=..\..\..\..\..\..\Scenery\Global\texture
fallback.4=..\..\B737_800\texture (Again, point it to the correct aircraft folder here!)

Or copy the appropriate vc textures manually.

3.Copy over the panel folder, or add a panel.cfg with an alias to the panel you want to use.

4.Edit the aircraft.cfg for the correct viewpoint if necessary.

Go to model and ammend the model cfg like that

[models]
normal=?????
interior=FSX_HONDA_interior

Then copy the FSX_HONDA_interior.MDL-->into that model folder

copy the Honda view over the current one in the aircraft cfg

[Views]
eyepoint=-26.15, -1.20, 2.46 //CockPit

Move the Honda panel folder into your plane one or make a panel cfg looking like that

[fltsim]
alias=HONDA_JET\panel.fsx

and move that to an empty panel folder

Best regards

Roland

If doesnt work-->PM me
