I wonder whose Flanker you used. It is interesting to compare with the real deal, one thing that stands out is the afterburner which is clearly visible with flame extending out in the model yet only really visible in the real one when a rear view is offered. Smoke in the real one is much more pronounced too.
I never really realised how big those Flankers are in real life until I saw one for real about 10 years ago, may have been Cosford, is that where the Int Tattoo takes place?

Tattoo is at Fairford.
I do not know where you get the information from about the A/B flame but I have seen them reach as far as 20 ft behind the aircraft. It all depends on lighting condition, A/B stage etc.
The Smoke on the flankers only appear at certain power levels when the throttles are moved not all the time. In fact I have never seen a smoker with A/B engaged on any aircraft.
Any more info required?
