Being as how the article is dated Aug 2nd and its now the 8th ... and the article said "tomorrow" which would have made the strike on the 3rd, we're now 5 days past the blast ...

Funny, I don't feel any different ...

don't you just love it when they use speech marks/quotation marks/Apostrophes to emphasise something yet you always read it as being opposite or a joke... try this one....

Yep this plasma already went thru the 3rd thru the 5th. Made a real nice light show up here. Downside although was it plays like heck with Aviation navigational FMC's and GPS and coms.

Ain't that the truth. There I was, out on my trusty Wheel Horse lawn tractor mowing the yard when suddenly my GPS system went out. Just as I was getting to the really thick stuff. I had no idea if I should go left around the Walnut tree, or go right around it. I sat there, with my foot on the clutch pedal, for a good 2 or 3 minutes...lost, confused, stranded. Luckily, my wife hollered down from the patio and told me to get my butt in gear and get the grass mowed before it started raining. Hearing her voice, her deep gravely Russian imigrant voice, broke me out of my daze and I was able to draw on my ancestral memories and tap into the wisdom of my elders who mowed grass without the aid of global positioning satellite systems. I lifted my foot from the clutch pedal...and ran right into the tree. So much for all that Injun Big Medicine hockus pockus my grandmothers taught me.

Great! I can see it now, Robonaut will malfunction and Hal 9000 will be running the ISS.
