Super Cub: Now Available

Well, I doubt that e.g. the bigger wheels will give you an advantage in FSX due to the limited ground simulation. I'm also flying the Super Cub around AU-blue and can land & take off the standard version even on the shortest roads...
BTW, the shaking in the VC on rough ground in the FR Super Cub is very realistic! Have fun! :)

I got the complete package but do most of my flying in the bush. I've tried them all but have spent most of my time in the Extreme and Experimental. Nothing looks like a Cub with tundra tires!

An aftermarket developer has made a high quality custom sound set specifically for this Supercub.

Check it out..looks pretty good : (by the way, they make great sound packs for lots of other FSX aircraft)

Just had a blast flying one of the 150hp varients in severe weather. Taking off and flying is fun but landing, not so good LoL.

For the heck of it I thought I'd see how short I could take off. I put it into the wind and dropped the flaps. I had to use brakes as it was blowing me backwards on the runway! I gave it full power and was in the air in a matter of feet! Before half the runway went by I was at 1500'. I swear I went backwards a couple of times.

I was using REX to generate severe winds and rain. Fun in sim anyway.

:running:Off to try the Tiger Moth now.
 
any repaints for the Classic package?

Just bought the Classic Bush package - flew a few hours last night and really like it a lot! Lots of fun landing wherever I want.

Does anyone know if repaints are in the works for the Classic package? I see lots of repaints for the Extreme bush package but couldn't find any for the Classic.

That last screeshot might be the "kicker" for me to buy this package! I had sworn myself "no other Cub" since I am so pleased and hooked on the A2A, but the attraction to this package is just too much!!

That paint is awesome!
 
That's what I thought too. But this is indeed a great package and the SuperCub can cover distances faster than the early A2A Cub. OK there is no Accusim in this package but it is indeed very very good.

It`s really only something I cooked up for my aussie flights. The experimental model has some small errors making the paint less than perfect, so I`m not sure if I`m going to upload it.

BTW. the paint isn`t black. It`s dark green.
