Super Cub Ultra in beta testing

SOH-CM-2025
Just thought I'd let those interested know that the 210hp Super Cub Ultra is now in the beta testing stage. Depending on the outcome, it shouldn't be more than a couple of week to the release. Screenshots to come in the next few days.

Just a couple of screenshots of the cargo version, in a high-vis scheme. Now you can transport much-needed supplies where they're needed, in some of the hardest to reach places. With a max weight of 2400 lbs, you can carry quite a load, and you'll understand that the slatted wing and large control surfaces are not just for having fun. :)

Looks great Mike!

Flew red Charlie on skis yesterday, nice ski flying weather right now here in Alaska!

A lot of what you can do with a cub has to do with how it is driven. There is the keep it simple and light school which I belong to. As with all planes, everything is a compromise. For me, a trip to the Brooks Range requires range. Great float planes they are as well, have some spectacular mountain lakes we go into that to describe are generally more than twice as high as they are long.... The one thing I do think is a worthwhile compromise is a constant speed prop!

Nice series, your cubs! Tom

Hey Mike, is it still going to include the camping gear?

Yes, it is. There's a basic version with camping gear; a passenger version with gear; and a cargo version with emergency gear. Basically, wherever you go, you'll be able to put up a tent and spend the night if you'd like to or have to.
