Suprunov Design DH Vampire out now...

Yeah great plane but the design and marketing philosophy is..shall we say russian.
No VC, come on! Too bad I'll pass this one. Back to my L-39 :jump:

They also seem to have forgotten something else - a Pilot!!

Yep - of to see my back seat lovely in the L-39 :ernae:

Serious no VC? In this day and age too, well thats one big dissapointment for me, and such a historic aircraft too!! L-39's all round then lol!

$25 for a plane with no VC?

I won't even download freeware planes with no VC!

It's 2009, people.

This is sacrilege! LOL The exterior looks great though, too bad.:kilroy:

I love the Vampire and it would be good to have single seat version, but this is a real strange way of doing things!!!

But for £12 I might bite.

I'd buy this in an instant if it had a VC. One thing that irks me is the way the developer describes how they may upgrade it in the future if enough people buy it. I understand the premise behind this thinking but sadly in a recession I can't see anyone buying something they will hardly use just to see it upgraded with a VC in the future.

A crying shame really as the exterior model looks fantastic.

Not sure what you're complaining about - 25$ for a good plane is not that much. Sure it lacks a VC (beeing the reason why I won't buy it) but if you look at other VCless offerings (like DA Fokker) this is not bad at all. And from the makers of the Yak-40 you can expect a lot of depth.

I'm not saying it's not good value, however most people (myself included) consider a VC essential in this day and age. The 2D panel is well and truly dead in FSX, especially if you use TrackIR.

This is kind of a funny reply Oli. . .you ask what people are complaining about and then admit yourself that you won't buy it because it lacks a VC. . . .ummm that's what they're complaining about, lol.
No one said it looks like a terrible aircraft. . .it actually looks like it's an excellent exterior model, but with trackIR being used widely and a lot of freeware (the L-39 is the benchmark now for payware) sporting amazingly accurate VC's, you have to wonder why anyone, especially a payware developer, would produce a non-vc aircraft. If they expect to sit back and wait to see how the sales go before upgrading. . . .they'll be very disappointed.

Actually the Euro 17 is just for the model, you also have to add postage for the dvd Euro 8! Or Roughly GBP25!!

Think I have changed my mind about this.

The confusing thing is that I've seen some dynamite Supranov VC's before. He clearly knows how to do 'em.

...and I quote (from the Supranov Site):

FSX VAMPIRE v 1.0 (DVD PACK signed by author) IS OUT OF STOCK AT THE MOMENT.
We are thankful for the support of our first buyers. All disks were signed personally for each pilot.
Mass production V.2.0 (with VC) will be available soon in d/l variant at SimMarket (until end of the month).
Price is unknown at the moment. Refer to SimMarket materials. Owners of v.1.0 will be granted with free upgrade (same as was with our Yak-40 historically).

I guess P.T. Barnum was right. Apparently, based on this, those of us who think a plane is worthless without a VC are in the minority, lol. Either that or there were only 5 DVD copies available, lol.
