Suprunov Design DH Vampire out now...

Just visited the suprunovdesign site and saw an image of a Vampire in French Armée de
l'Air markings. If anyone is interested here are a couple articles (with photos) about two Swiss Vampires that visited France to help Escadron de Chasse 3/2 "Alsace" celebrate their 40th anniversary.

Now got the version 1.5, ok still no vc yet but this is being worked on.

Roll rate seems a bit quick, and the pilot will need to change to reflect the 50 stye. But I like it.

It has the 25 Sqn scheme in the package, my Dad served with them during his national service at West Malling.

Lacking a VC at the moment to really enjoy and get the feel but i can see this being a fun Multiplay aircraft .

Umm the Suprunov did forget us but i am sure this could be fixed very easy

Gear compression??

Just saw the vampire movie and on take of and landing `I saw little or nore compression of the landing gear.
Owners of the plane is this a fact or did I mis it?

like to order but this holds me back....

I saw little or nore compression of the landing gear.

There is movement in the with gear, very limited but its simply due to the very low weight of the Vampire , also we get to see many at airshows and found it has limited movement due to the swat profile and view, but your point may be valid as i have very old service photos that seem to show the aircraft tail down when parked up .

I really would like to know where is the late Igor "Lancelot" Suprunov's DH.100 Vampire today... Not for sale anymore, not yet freeware as his Yak-40...

It is a little sad, truly very sad in regard to Igor, he had such a following , his work was incredible.
