SW Pacific Tour Standings and Statistics

Submitted my numbers into Apollosmith's cool Googlesheet, and updated my backup as well. Thanks, AS!

Statistics

Paul;
Thanks for the "special" update of my stats..
I appreciate, and hope the others do as well, all your efforts, hard work
and dedication to put on this event.. You, Sir, are truly an unsung hero :salute:
(okay, I can't sing, and you wouldn't want me to..):kilroy:
Charles.

Thanks Charles. It's been fun. We've got another "job" coming soonish, as you saw MM's thread here aluding to. A different sort of challenge. :)

Paul;
Yeah, I saw MM's "Looking For Work" sign.. Definitely got the ol' curiosity up..

Thanks Paul!

No apologies needed mate!

Super event ... very well done.

Now what's MM got up his sleeve?

So there might be a DC3 event coming up. I wonder if Mick & Salt_Air will be interested?

Too right we will!

Hi Paul,
thanks for waiting for me.
Rearguard's coming in late as usual.

I hope to finish the trip today.

Gunter

Hi Paul,
just a small comment - the calculated average flight speed is slightly skewed as crashed flights have 0 distance registered in the list. So the calculated averages are not fully comparable.

(Says he who has crashed... :redface: )

Thanks for your hard work tracking all flights!

Somehow you got the York dropped into the bomber class. While it shared wing structure with the Lanc, it - like the B307 - had a totally new fuselage and was designed and certified as a transport. It served that way until after the beginning of the jet age. The Lancastrian was the bomber conversion.
:salute:

Yes, you are correct, but since the important "metric", time, is unaffected by this, I decided not to worry to much about it. Average speed over the course was just a curiosity anyway.

Oops. It wasn't "somehow", it was "Paul assumed it was a bomber". Shows what I know! I'll fix that one too...

many thanks to Paul for setting this up
and for an exemplary job with the statistics.
this was fun stuff.
i'm looking forward to the next one.

as a side note;
today, i finally got my 5.1 surround headset working
and decided to take the old girl out for a sound check.
HOLY CRAP!!!
what a difference with bass vibration turned up.
and the Boston is incredible as well,
especially at lower RMPs.
rumble, rumble, shake, shake.
i sure hope i can keep this thing working.
