When I try to start sweetfx I get this....any ideas? I installed Flightfx too

There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

What is sweetfx ? Do i need this with AnKor's shaders ? Maybe a stupid place to ask but i am new to using AnKor's shader package. Regards,Scott Sorry for asking and not helping your problem...

I don't use SweetFX anymore, but it does require AnKor's shaders to be running first for it to work.
Reshade eliminates the need for FlightFX.

So, I am probably as confused as Ted re solving the moon refection and your replies there if you don't use Sweet fx anymore. I couldn't find anything in shader30 folder, or the d3d8.ini file vaguely similar to your post #7 in the http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php/123909-Reflective-lighting-from-the-moon thread.

Reshade is the new SweetFX

The Reshade post-render effects are completely independent of AnKor's game shaders, other than they only work if AnKor's shaders are running.
I use them for modifying things like sharpening, and color contrast enhancement in continuous real time versus doing it to a still image snapshot in post process.
It was one of the Reshade shaders (Levels) that was making my nighttime scenarios too dark to see, until I realized the cause and turned it off.
The info I posted in the other thread was from the Reshade ini file, and has nothing to do with AnKor's ini or the files in the Shaders30 folder.
Again, AnKor's shaders by themselves do nothing to negatively effect our ability to fly at night (as shown in my pre-war moonlight over London image)
