Swiss satellite to tackle space junk

It's about time! Space around earth has become very hazadous now...

It's not at all hard to imagine a cascade of collisions that could quite quickly wipe out most of the global communications satellites. The impact on our electronic infrastructure, including but not limited to banking and commerce, would be devastating!

Absolutely and maintaining clean orbits for GPS satellites is going to be critical as air travel is moving away from VOR and to GPS navigation. It would be disastrous to have these satellites destroyed by space junk.
