Came across this video of a T-28 with engine trouble a few weeks ago. Good news the pilot is ok.

 
I saw that thumbnail in my suggestions and ignored it because it looked like an RC plane and I thought it was an RC youtuber fishing for views.
Smart guy not getting fixated on returning to the airfield.
 
I thought the same being an RC aircraft. Some of those RC aircraft do look like the real deal!
 
I fly with guy that is part owner of a "D" model, need to send the link to this, not that he wants to think of an engine failure, but how tough that plane is with a flawless off-airport deadstick.
 
A great outcome. Happy the pilot walked away. Have some r/w T-28 time myself. It is a big heavy bird. Nice job on The pilot's behalf. Mike
