Well since no one is free to do this for me, I started this..
Not perfect but working on it..

Thanks to Regs for the T-34 Base model I started from..
It is the MAW T-34 I set up for the First Eastern front Missions Package, I was given permission to set these up for use in My Eastern front Mission Packs..

I have for months worked on Large tank battles for the eastern front, with the proper Formations and tactics, used by the Germans and Russians..
(Armor when I was in the Army..learned this then)..

Slip Stream did a beautiful Russian Sherman one for this..
And now with some help I think We just might have some T-34's to run around..

That is with some help.. I am no expert in all of this..

I use to fly the HS 129 in MAW, I love this one, another masterpiece.... hey hey, boum the Sherman!!!
Unfortunately it is slow and when there are Kittyhawks or Spitfires above, it becomes rapidly a little bit more complicated !! :jump:

They look fantabulous!:applause:

...we also have the tank busting Stuka with which to shoot at said tank(s)!*

Did the US send the Ruskies some Shermans via the lend-lease act?

*though the T34 is prolly not an easy nut to crack!:tgun2:...especially from the air!
(...I usually am out of ammo before inflicting a dent.____:kilroy:____)

The Russians had all the junk they could get! They used Matildas, Valentines, Lees, Stuarts and Shermans, among others. The Sherman variant they used the most was the MkIII or M4A2 with the GM diesel engine. They used all variants of the M4A2, up to and including the M4A2(76)W. So the MS stock one is half-right. It has the late type flat glacis "wet" hull as used on the final A2 and A3 variants but appears to have the 105mm howitzer rather than the 76mm AT gun. Still... Did anybody actually expect MS to get it all right? This final model was really only in service in significant numbers from about mid/late-1944 at best.

I got the flying carpet problem sorted out. Check your mail.

These are fun to drive around and shoot up an airfield with. My joystick works perfectly to control the main gun slew and elevation. You just have to be careful to not get going too fast, and they can't deal with rough terrain very well.

OH MY..

I am in 7th heaven..:applause:

Thanks Very Much Major, The T-34 is wonderful..

The Men at Regs Hanger are the authors of the base I used for this..
Thanks goes to Regs Hanger and the team there..
:salute: :salute: :salute:

And to Slip Stream for his great help and support in this effort..

The Eastern Front sets has been is a large team effort by many of the Masters ..
I just have been allowed to build some missions..
The work of many others, made this possible to do..

Off to shoot up some german Mk III's and maybe a tiger or two..
