'T-37 History'

The T-37 Tweet, and its counter part the A-37 Dragonfly, are two planes that get overlooked in the bigger picture of American military aircraft. The A-37 was used with success during the Vietnam War and the T-37 has been a fabulous trainer aircraft for 50 years....almost the entire existance of the United States Airforce. Name another plane that has been in USAF use that long. B-52 is the only one that I can think of that has a service life comparable to the Tweet's.

I have to wonder what happened re the Tweet in MSFS, the support at http://www.t37sim.com/ seems to have dried up, yet I remember a forum post (when it was working) that a major overhaul was in the works. I recently reinstalled my T-37 through Flight1 but there is something wrong with it, switches don't switch and as a result the darned thing wont start.
 
I will always remember getting one into an inverted spin.
And taking one through a thunderstorm cell.
And seeing the boost pump light and . . . .

When that happens, load a default aircraft, one of the Cessnas is best, start it up, make sure all switches are on, leave it running, then switch back to the plane that won't start. It's not realistic, but at least you can enjoy flying it, if that's what you wanted to do.

While I also prefer to have everything work in the cockpit, when a particular aircraft that I like is the only available one, I won't trash it, unless it's totally unflyable, until something better comes along.
