T-38 from Beale was doing "touch and go's" at Mather airpark in high winds today,suffered a tire blowout.and then the wind blew the plane across the runway blowing out a second tire causing it to run off the runway into the grass.....yup..its what they say.....check the link...and yes..it was very windy here today...still kinda wierd..

T-38A/C aircraft are really a handful with little to no crosswind. With a crosswind they are an absolute nightmare!

The rudder has a very nasty adverse roll which must be countered with ailerons to prevent inverted flight...:ernae:
