T-45 over Oceania

Wow! Outstanding video. Just out of curiosity, it says the scenery is tile proxy. Can anyone tell me how tile proxy works?

Also, for those in the know, do we cross train our training pilots on other countries carriers? I know there's very few, but the Clemenceau certainly and likewise, do their trainee's land aboard our carriers?

Simple answer, sorta. I don't believe we send trainee's to other carriers, but we do send aircraft. There is a great set of pics out there somewhere for Rafale's (and an E-2 I think) from the Clem operating on a U.S. Carrier.

And when the Brits had a big-deck carrier we had aircraft go back and forth.

But the trainee thing, I don't have a clue, but I don't see that happening.
