Ta 152 Paint kit

Does anyone know if there is a paint kit for the WoP Ta 152? I've decided to get off my rear and learn Paint Shop Pro.

I checked with the A2A Community Forums, and supposedly a paint kit for the Fw-190D "Long Nose" pack (which included the Ta-152C and H) was uploaded to Fswarbirds, which is now defunct... and Avsim ( Not the Russian site ). I looked at Avsim and couldn't find it. I have the WoP Fw-190D Long Nose pack installed. Let me dig around and see if there was possibly a paint kit included in that package.

EDIT:... I looked everywhere and couldn't find a paint kit specific to the WoP Ta-152. There may be one out there somewhere.. I have several repaints installed in my copy from different authors. Sorry, mate.

I haven't been able to find any repaints for it myself, so I figured to try my hand at a few of them. Even finally got around to installing PSP X on this 'puter.

Hey Willy, maybe you could practice on a few Fw-190D's.... The Ta-152C/H... that's a different bird altogether. :salute: Whatever you decide, show us your progress, mate.

Any idea where those might be available?

I've been flying the 152 quite a bit lately. And IMHO, it's a very under rated aircraft.

Under rated is right! The Ta-152C was the ultimate refinement of the Fw-190D, the "H" model was a high altitude fighter/bomber killer from what I have read. The 152C was just as fast as a P-51 and could turn inside it. Experienced pilots over rookies was the determining factor between the two, but the planes were pretty much evenly matched machines.

I don't have that all white version of the 152C, but I have a few others on the back-up that I'm currently flying now. Check your PM's.

I've been flying the 152H mostly of late, calling myself "studying the jetstream in FS". Actually just having fun seeing how far and how fast I can fly it.

Me and the 152C go back to CFS 1 when I did one for that sim. Even with one glaring error in the model, it was quite formidable in that sim.

Thanks for the good words Blackbird! Unfortunately, the skills required for a FS/CFS aircraft passed me by a few years back. But I still have some interest in the occasional repaint if the subject interests me enough. Problem is that I never learned how to do layers! Back in the day, I could get away with that, but things have evolved since then.

Just playing around figuring out what the buttons in PSP are for. Might be a keeper in there though for this winter.
