For those wishing to program in their own music in the iPhone,

Get a group of your songs together, 8 total
Compile them to WAV format. You can do this easily by downloading freeware Audacity, open with Audacity, export as WAV format. (Pure windows WAV format, which is what FS uses).
Next, rename them from SDN20 thru SND27 (thats 8 total)
Now, drop those into the LHC folder located in your FS Sound folder.

Done..

Left click iTunes APP icons to play music, 'RIGHT' click same icons to turn off music. One song per App icon.

I failed to mention that it has its own little handy dandy fictional GPS.

Lionhart I want to congratulate you on this plane. It is really fun to fly. Such a zippy little thing lol. I am still wondering how I can update it and request a new download through Paypal once you update it though. I wonder if you ever thought of doing A stinson plane like say the Reliant or the Voyager?

I had hard day today and i'm tired, but i hope to explore the Tailwind more tomorrow. What i have seen so far is really excellent work and an airplane with character. Lots of fun to fly and a gift for that price :applause: Many thanks to both Bills and Bob :ernae:
 
Being one of those Visduh64 wierdos, I'm holding off as suggested, but will be buying this when the problem is fixed... or before on principle so I can see what the darned OS broke this time! :icon_lol:

Small note; As you know, you can access autopilot via keyboard access. On the Tailwind W-8, you can still fly with AP by simply clicking on Z, then Control Z to lock altitude, and Control H to lock heading. The data for the AP in the W-8 is still in the config file for this. (I am an AP nut. I have to run it now and then so I can sightsee).

Hey Roland,

Man, that sound should be in there. Check the LHC folder in the main FS Sound folder. If it isnt, try reinstalling it. Some are saying with vista 64, that some parts go to C drive, some to the FS drive. Sounds wacky, but thats the news I am getting. The sound file might be in a different location.

Perhaps run the installer to a TEMP folder on the desktop, and go through the folders and find the SND file with the 'flying sandwhich' sound... (sounds like something from Monty Python.. I still havent done the 'appearing auto-penguine pilot system :d ).

What a cracking little addon. I'll have to plan a proper flight tomorrow morning.

Just one thing I did notice; it appears that the light effect from the W10 has carried across to the W8 model that apparently has no tail light.

A simple removal of the offending line in the aircraft.cfg does the trick.

Thats the general link for everyone. Look up an order, best to use your actual invoice number as it works every time, then request the download. Goes straight to me, ok'd, and you get a link in your email.

Great work Bill..:applause:...I didnt think I would be into this but the screenies are putting this into the must get category.. .it also meets my criteria (must work in Fs9 and FSX, round dials and a bit exotic!) - this limits my purchases but I tend to fly in fs9 more than FSX ..I cant justify buying aircraft that work in FSX only..so once again good work and making the extra effort in making it work in both sims
