Tailwind Yes!!

The HOT ROD is really hot!

Can't wait to park her (them) in my hangar! My hangar is ready, I cleaned it and sanitized it.

Two words:

SIMPLY IRRESISTIBLE!

Eli

PS...

The key ring, that's Lionheart's signature! :engel016: Lionheart always gives us surprises! Lots of surprises! and i say 'LOTS'

I have had the good fortune to get a copy to try, and it's going to be a winner! I think the exciting part about this project will be the fact that we will get the great looking plane we know Lionheart makes, with panels done by Bill Leaming. What a combo! :applause:

I'm bothered by the keyring also...........I think it should be a lot BIGGER!!:engel016: Nice bird!! Looks like a blast to fly!! :applause:

Not my type of aircraft, but great modeling and texture work, LOVE Bobs hot rod paint!!

Nice touch on the keyring Bill!! :monkies:

Hey guys and gals,

Thanks for the kind words. She was fun to model.

Concerning Aerobatics like Flight Model (airfiles); Yes.. Its radically swift. Figure a 700 pound aircraft with a 6 cylinder high performance Continental with low lift/high speed designed wings, and you get a prop powered rocket.

Concerning the keychain, that can be easily modified. But then it cancells out the Holy Warranty.

:d

I cant believe how well 'HotRod' came out! To fly it on the sim, its like the picture came to life. Totally photo real. Incredible work, as always, by Bob Rivera... Stunning paint scheme. That aircraft is presently in Russia right now. I do not know why. (The actual plane that is).

Concerning Floats version; Negative. This one is just a little speedster designed to go fast. Not your all terrain type of plane. (I would think you would want to keep those wings as dry as possible, being they are wood ribbed and wood veneer skinned).

I should probably have made it clearer that this was a joke, as it's what I usually ask for as soon as anyone announces a model. Sorry about that!... Anyway, more to the point, I'm not usually a hotrod or homebuilt kind of flyer, but as I said before, this is certainly on the shopping list. Looks very nice indeed!:applause:

Any chance we could get some "proper" spec maps for this one? I still want to make one of your planes sparkly... ;)

Already done. I remembered the call for those during the Epic LT release.

All Spec's and bump maps are seperate for the 4 sections of the exterior skins. This will be good as some people are making Tailwind aircraft with aluminum wings which are riveted. Several gentlemen in Australia are making their wings extremely lite weight. They are also installing wingtanks as well, which must be a bit small inside such a thin wing. The wing cord or aspect is designed for high speed. Very poor for slow flight. Definately use flaps when on approach. Drop under 65 MPH without flaps and the ground comes up to greet you... fast...

Awesome screenshots Robert!

New Interior colors are completed. I'll post some screenshots later today. Some nice leather textures. No more of the previous aircraft fabrics.
