Hey folks,
What is your default start aircraft and location? Take a screenie of your startup screen :)
Cheers

Bad idea. A lot of problems with 3rd party add ons are caused only because people are not using a default FSX plane during the FSX initial load!!!
Many readme files mention the important fact that a default aircraft must be loaded first to avoid any problems with add-ons.

Yeah, but once you're happy with your situation and you know what you want there's no reason to not use a custom plane at startup.

It won't stay this way.

The Sierra, cause I just finished doing an update for it

Hamilton airport, cause I just finished doing scenery for it

The current time, fixed cause I was checking night lighting for the airport

Clear skies, cause it loads faster.

Last month it was the Drifter and Brisbane.

Who knows what it will be next month.

I don't go to that screen. I just load to my default flight which is some hick airport in north dakota, with the stock c172.

I'm a combination of a lot these. Sometimes I load the aircraft I'm repainting. Sometimes it's a saved flight from an MP session, other times it's just to check a panel mod. . .but rarely is it the same aircraft twice.

I think the only time I ever load FSX with the default Cessna was after I had done the initial installation. I don't fly any of the default aircraft and never have had a problem with FSX and I started using it about 6 months after it's initial release.:salute:

Whatever plane I'm working on, at Edward's North Base, or one of my aircarriers.
And my FSX just boots into the flight--no intro screens, etc.

1) Default Cessna 172
2) KBGR, parked on the ramp
3) Noon
4) 50% fuel, engine off

Friday Harbor was too small for airliners.
