"Tante Ju" beta testing...

To all,

The time has come to finish this project and upload it.

I ask at this time for a small handful of beta testers to put her through her paces.

As of right now, I am looking for someone with knowledge of .dp editing....the gunstations and muzzle flashes could use some work.

Additionally, I also need someone with panel editing experience - particularly with "pop up" windows to work on the panel and panel.cfg, going through and determining what gauges are needed and those which can be discarded.

I want to make sure we have the best possible product before uploading. To volunteer, either contact me through my e-mail (delta-roger-echo-whiskey 3424 at charlie-oscar-mike-charlie-alpha-sierra-tango dot november-echo-tango) or send me a PM with your e-mail.

Let's finish this up and get her uploaded!

Thanks,

To all,

I am happy to report that sc7500 volunteered to work on the .dp file, and achim27619 volunteered to work on the panel.

Thanks to you both! :wavey:

Rami, are you aware that Ali Cat is building gauges for the JU52?

Remember I told you it would take a C master to build new gauges.

Would you like achim27619 to have the latest update attached below (gauge and panel.cfg.)

Not a final, just work in progress!

Simon,

I'll have a look, thanks. The .dp is finished...but now I have another problem. What's the last date you have for the model? Right now, the VC is blank, and I know I've seen gauges in it. This is the most frustrating thing.

UPDATE: The new Panel.cfg fixed the VC, thanks!

Also, were there any textures for the front and rear turrets?

Simon and others,

When Achim completes his work on the panel, I think what I might do is follow the example of the FS9 Tigercat. The Ju-52 will be a "work in progress." It can still be used, because the .dp and other aspects of the aircraft do not have to be changed, just the panel is being worked on.

That way, people can get their hands on it now and put it to work, and when the panel and gauges are completed, we can cobble together an update, or just modify the original package with the new files.
