Taog Huey Released

This has been one of the best purchases I've made. This is just a joy to fly and heaven to listen to. Stunning quality and great value for the money.
I already slapped a fictional personal paintjob on it (just modified from the included Japanese paint) and set out on some bad weather SAR. It's the most fun you can have with your pants on.

How does this fly?

I've only got the default choppers and they are a pig to fly without looking like an aerobatic pilot! not sure whether I need to do some refinement on controller settings or something else.

Cheers

Thanks for the heads-up. I didn't get any emails from .to, so it would have been a while before I saw the update. It's a really nice update. The only thing I had to adjust in my personal repaints was the clipboard (which I had re-colored), since they added a new function.

It's really good -- very responsive and predictable, but (like most helicopters) it takes a bit of practice and can get away from you if you're not paying attention. For me, this is the most controllable heli in the sim, and it's the only one I really like to take on long flights. However, it's not "arcade" easy, either (keep an eye on your torque). I'm not a RL rotorwing pilot, but this feels realistic.

That's good to know thanks. I don't want 'easy' settings, I enjoy having to work at it, but there's something about the default ones that doesn't feel real which is hard to explain as someone who has only ever flown fix and flex wing aircraft! I might splash out then :)
