TDS 737-700 base pack released

I was not having any luck getting that addon on to work with the base pack however, I did manage to fine another standalone TDS 737 that works just fine and you have choice of
winglets or not. [SIZE=-1]FS2004 Southwest Airlines "Canyon Blue" Boeing 737-700[/SIZE]

granted they are for a 800 series and most of the view are fine, some could use a little tweak maybe.

Glad to hear you were able to get one working! It seems as if certain Repaints are very finicky because of the Aircraft.cfg entry; sometimes it takes changing the 'Title' (after the '+BO_) from lower case to caps in order for the Repaint to show up!

I think that other repaint shown here is for Project Open sky B737 not the TDS model that explains why it didn't work in the TDS folder. Ahhhh Sooooo!!! :icon_lol:

I did a file search in Flightsim for that texture number and sure enough it found it and said it was a repaint for the Project Open Sky B737. At least the same livery is for POS.

Those who don't want to do merge by themselves, there are now two packages already in simviation for this birds where this bird is merged with wonderful Rojas/FSND 737-800 cockpit. You get good FMC also. I'm going to test this bird tomorrow, looks really good.

Might it also be that it's a repaint for FS 9, and not for FSX? FS 9 Repaints work in FSX, but not the other way around, correct?

Now you've piqued my interest... I'm going to try and load it into my Sim! :p

Yes Hiroshi is so prolific that it takes a bit of time to adjust to his classification system. In his FB page there is additionnal models for this freighter: with or without eyebrows, with or without winglets, and combinations. You also have the 737-600, 700, 800 and 900 models, all with similar variations... all for FS9 or FSX... Hence the long list of files...

For the freighter:
- FSX_737C--E_MDL_IG32 .ZIP : no winglet/with eyebrow (for my US Navy repaint, I choose this model)
- FSX_737C--EW2_MDL_IG32.ZIP : winglet/eyebrow (like Airpost)
- FSX_737C--W2_MDL_IG31.ZIP : winglet/no eyebrow (like Bluebird)

Hours of fun trying out and assembling aircrafts to your own liking...

Thanks! I found some repaints that needed different models, so I just installed all models in their own folders.

One more question: Do you know which model to use for the 737-800 with the new 'split scimitar' winglets?

It appears it's the "W3" models, like for instance for this 737-700, it's the "TDSX737_CFM56-7B--W3.MDL" file.
You can get it inside the "FSX_TDS737-700_W_MDL_SET_IG30B.ZIP" download package, from the TDS Facebook page.

For the 737-800, I suppose it's going to be "TDSX738_CFM56-7B--W3.mdl" from FSX_TDS737-800_W_MDL_SET_IG30.ZIP, but I didn't tried this one yet.

If anyone successfully does a cockpit merge with PMDG, please post instructions. It would be a blast to have a freighter version with the PMDG cockpit.
 
I tried the PMDG merge with the Poseidon, but I got an "invalid license" error. May be possible with a bit more fiddling though.
 
Anyone get sorted out the VC NIGHT lighting on the -700 series (using the -800 default vc merge)? I have quite a bit of experience with these merged default vc with the POSKY/TDS models but am never really sure whether the optimal cockpit lighting should be done via the [lights] section in the air.cfg, or with VC night bmps in the texture folder or some combination of both.:dizzy:
