• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

I see what you all mean by confusing, "Sorry thought I posted about it shutting down" I did at my site but not here but I will be shutting it down on 2-22-11. Sorry guys .......... the saddest part of it all is when friends sign up and then they don't post at your site for months anyway no hard feelings just going to go back to playing my PS3 and leave this Flight sim stuff alone like I feel I should of done in the first place. and for those of you who are wondering why public support is needed it is simple I have never played this game I just built planes for it, so if I feel there is no public support on something then I tend to drift away from it cause if they are not interested in it then I feel why bother. And I go play my PS3 and collect dog tags. I try to stay focused on the designing but at times it is hard cause of what happened here about 5 years ago when I devoted 110% to have a few people ruin it for others. anyway I will not bother you good folks anymore I will stop in from time to time and say hi.

It's a shame you feel that way Taz. A lot of folks have appreciated your modelling over the years.

If you are off to pursue other hobbies is there any chance that anything you have in the works, at whatever stage, could be donated for others to finish perhaps?

Taz, you first build something for yourself and then, you release it for the community because some people may be interested, you don't have to build something for others..
Personnally, I build missions as I like them to be, I want to fly them when I come back from work in the evening. I convert some of them to ETO V1.40 standard for community but I don't care of the download amount. If at least one person enjoy them then, I'm happy.

That is what I decided to do...... I trashed the FW 190 cause I noticed it was built already going to finish the T-6 & the Helldiver but at the same time I added more to my peanuts project Linus,Charlie Brown,Lucy,Woodstock cause that is what I want to do some fun stuff that is different and will bring enjoyment to kids and some grownup kids I will still build real planes but not as many as use too in the past I am converting all my WWI planes to cartoon style planes for the kids to enjoy oh and the big kids too hope this pleases everyone if not i really do not know what to say about it I will be sending inactive users at my site a letter that there account is about to be removed due to inactivity cause I want real members stats not like what I have now 27 users and 9 active users, that means I really have 9 members not 27 and if anyone needs space to hold files feel drop me a line and will setup a section for you if the file is bigger than 50 megs I will have to setup a ftp account for you so you upload it that way I set this site for the CFS community for those who do not have a website and would like a place to put things which is fine with me cause i have unlimited band width ect. so I will not have any problems there.

TDS-Designs will stay open 1 more year and we will see what happens next year
