Team Outhouse 2012 RTWR Practice 2 Race Thread

my test flight is down safe at SAMR. In the dark in my P-61 ::lol:; Nice place actually.. 721 miles covered in 2 hours 21 minutes.. not a single glitch.. lets see what tomorrow brings

I have the baton in Posky B777 at SCJO going to SCAS.

Edit: Oops, just spotted that Rob picked up the baton while I was setting up. So I'm wingman.

It appears that we had two baton posts within 3 minutes of each other on separate pages. The first post must stand as the baton wasn't really there for Martin to pick up despite him making a great landing in that big bird at SCAS (I saw him come in).

Yup, gotta watch that kinda thing, SCAS wasn't min 500 miles from SCJO, so if SrG crashed the baton would've passed to Spookster, whose stop didn't meet the second 'below' 40 requirements.

Nice job G, and spookster for bringing the 777 back to earth in one piece.

Spookster's idea was that SCAS would have given us a shorter leg to an alternative second below rather than going all the way down to Rob's destination. Regardless the baton is down safe now and we have the two below requirement met so it's up and away to the north-east.

ts beginning to look like my problems are simply resource issues. I didnt run Google Earth last night, nor FS host and the flight was successful. I havent run them today either, and it looks like the flight will once again be successful. If that works out to be true, then i may have to get destinations from someone else, but at least i can race..

got a nice 32 knot tail wind heading towards sazm at the moment. lovin it.. its giving me an extra ten knots of speed...:)

Diplomacy isn't my strong suit, as you well know.

Pam, I'm in a similar boat with this old comp and FS9. I can run FS9 online just fine. But when I try to run other programs with it, things get dicey. So, I fly online but keep my posts to a minimum and off of TS and Google Earth. FS takes pretty much all of my comps "attention".
