I have the baton, OSDI to OKBK. Spitfire XIX (of course)

Diverting to OERY to pick up bonus airport. Excellent weather with strong winds. And the Spitfire is just humming along.

Lost my tailwinds in the divert. Now have an 80kt crosswind. Otherwise, cruising along all conditions normal. (and have Tom Petty in the 8-track for ambiance)

I have the baton at OSDI in DH Hornet going to OERY (apparently there's a bonus there?)

Got good speed over the ground (450knots) but I'm struggling on range, about 50nm short. Going up to FL310 to try to extend. ETE about 1:00.

Range is still 10nm short. I'll either be gliding it for the last 10nm, or landing at the military base that is 20nm closer. :salute:
