    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Team Outhouse 2012 RTWR Practice 2 Race Thread

Diverting to OERY to pick up bonus airport. Excellent weather with strong winds. And the Spitfire is just humming along.
 
Lost my tailwinds in the divert. Now have an 80kt crosswind. Otherwise, cruising along all conditions normal. (and have Tom Petty in the 8-track for ambiance)
 
Got good speed over the ground (450knots) but I'm struggling on range, about 50nm short. Going up to FL310 to try to extend. ETE about 1:00.
 
Range is still 10nm short. I'll either be gliding it for the last 10nm, or landing at the military base that is 20nm closer. :salute:
