• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Sometimes I find things scrumming around this wide-wide world that I find amazing. Most often it is studing for tips, techniques, and such on photography, as this is one of my passions also.

But I came upon Aaron Nace's work on Flickr through some of my Raleigh, NC chums and I tell you, it is amazing. It runs from the arcane to the bizarre. No doubt he must be "gay", because no straight-lace like myself could ever contort his facial expressions and body in the manner he does. But study his work close, spent some time. This fellow is "real" good.

Guess I'm cheap - I always buy my gorilla a half sub! :d
He seems to interact well with critters. I liked the pic of the zebra checking out the Bojangles chicken box. :)

Most of the FRIENDS work is composite TARPS, the animals and he are shot individually and cut-out. It's all Photoshop magic. The photos with he and Rosie are done an ocean apart. She lives in England and each week sends him a photo of her in some pose. He takes a pose of himself to match or fit her pose and makes a composite on his blog. Oh to be young and have the freedom, energy, and time to do such stuff again. Oh to have had Photoshop in my youth!

Subway should buy that and use it in one of their $5.00 foot-long ads.
