terrible graphics no voice w/vista

I just loaded csf3 into my new gateway w/intel core s quad q8200.nvidia caed is gforce gt120 . what do i have to dio to get it to run right .i've loaded 3.1 and 3.1a . commands for voice don't work .all the dust clouds from target are just blocks.
