Texans and Harvards FSX released

Yep, going to be hectic but I am glad. Since I am graduating this month I have to complete over a weeks worth of future assignments. So this week I have 2.5 weeks of assignments to do. Fun Fun

The good news is when I am all done, I finally can devote the majority of my time to SkyUnlimited.

Good news for you and us!!:applause:

There's a lot to do on the T-6G. The VC is quite different from the At6D and the rear cockpit has to be totally re-built from the FS9 version. The code that animates all the switches and knobs and lights in FSX is a bit different than FS9 which is one of the many reasons why it's taken me and other developers as long as it has to get aircraft FSX SP2 compliant. I must confess I'm not looking forward to re-writing the code for 26 circuit breakers.

So it will probably be longer than two weeks. That means it won't be "soon." :costumes: So you'll have time to do research.

While you wait, maybe you could help Shackleton_boy with a SAAF re-paint. My understanding is that there are a lot of Texan/Harvard fans in South Africa. One of their aero teams did that stunt of skimming across a lake with their gear down.

Here's some screenies of the "new" prop. I just love this plane! It's like a drug that just relax's me; my favorite slow and low plane! The prop was such a small niggle! Thanks for the attention X_eidos2!

Its still crunch time over here, but John has gotten me the files needed so that I can compile a new update with both types of props. I wasn't expecting I would have to get Mike's L-4 out on the website so soon, so it took up the time between my studies I would have dedicated to the update, but I have not forgotten about you guys. Thanks for the patience

Hey Jesse, the heck with us. Finish your finals and graduate. THEN you can deal with less important things like us. Just don't tell us you are doing that. :costumes:

Congratulations!

A nice WIP there, but you may want to change the font to make it a little more legible?

Is that all recorded in FSX?

I picked the font because it closely resembles my Dad's hand writing. I had to ask my Mom for help in some areas of the letter. I can always change it.

The flying scenes are being done in FSX. On the ground, if the camera isn't moving, it's in FSX. If the camera moves and it's at one of the three bases mentioned in the letter, it's recorded in FS9. The figures are added in post-production using Poser and Carrara 6 Pro. Video editing is being done with PowerDirector 5. Music will be done using SmartSound.

Well guys I am officially done with college.

I spent the first couple years as an aviation major. Switched over to psychology as gas prices drove up the cost of flying. Took 18-21 hours of courses for several semesters and got all of the psychology major courses done.

I graduate with Summa Cum Laude Honors, 4.0 Major G.P.A., and 3.9 Overall G.P.A. Not sure of my class rank yet

After a visit with my brother who is coming in from overseas this week, a quick move to another town, and some time spent with family during the holiday season, I will finally be able to work full time on SkyUnlimited.
