Thank goodness beer is still cheap!

Talk about sticker shock! Went to pick up a couple of Deb's prescriptions and found that the one that used to cost $10 for a 30-day supply of a generic went up to $76 for the same 30-day supply of the same generic. Took Brutus (or Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix) to the vet for his annual check up and booster shots....over $100...last year the price was less than $80. Had no choice but to get Deb's meds. Brutus will be transferring to the vet we take Hazel (our Chihuhua) too...he will get the same level of care, same shots for around $50. On the way home, I noticed that gas is back up to almost $3 a gallon. The loaf of bread I bought a couple days ago was almost $2.

Thank goodness beer is still cheap! I can still afford to stay drunk enough not to notice how bad things really are (just kidding...I don't drink...but it is beginning to look like a good idea).

Check your area for a hay and feed store (large animals cattle and horses). In Arizona you can buy the dog shot boosters for 7.50 and give them yourself, Ohio may have the same.

If beer got more expensive here it would result in a civic war.
Nothing is holier to Germans than beer.
Sounds stereotypical, but it's really like that! :d

If it make you feel better...a gallon of diesel costs me €4.50...that's over $6.
My health insurance bill (for just me alone) = €1,000 per annum
Monthly medical bills not covered by health insurance= €160+

It's depressing...but I can't afford the added expense of anti-depressant medication too!!! :d
