What a great guy he is, bringing so many of us so much fun, doing the really difficult, largely unrewarded technical stuff.

SHOCKED to hear you were laboring with heart surgery facing you and, as you mentioned in one of your progress reports, you nevertheless "went thru a carton of cigarettes in two days". Most of us had no idea. After having read all the postings, I can't find anything to say that hasn't already been said. Anyway, I have previously expressed my "innermost feelings" about the few ingrates in our community.

Here's wishing you a speedy and full recovery. You are a true champion!

ABSOLUTELY... I have read some posts on other flight sim websites and what some are saying literally pissed me off. You will NEVER get complaints from me, Ickie. You make SOH "A Wonderful Place".

Been in this thread 3 times now, keep on starting to type stuff and it never seems to be good enough for the momment and trying to fit in enough gratitude for keeping my virtual homes doors open over past years is to diffucult for my adled mind. So I'll do what us guys do in those awkward momments, crack a filthy joke, punch you in the arm with a tilted head, wink and crooked smile, and get the beers in.

I didn't find the stuff on the other forums. It seriously pissed me off also,that anyone would have the nerve to complain about someone working as hard as Ickie was. I saw much of the same directed at the people working to recover the Avsim library also.

These people are the worst. The people who run and maintain these forums do so for free and to support our hobby. They deserve nothing but our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the sacrifices of time, talent and I'm sure money out of their own pocket's. Some even risk their health and well being. I hope the complainers crawl back under their rocks in shame.

Thanks and Praise to Ickie and also the people at Avsim.:applause::applause::applause: Without these folks, the world would surely be a much poorer place indeed!!!

working on this site is a chore for sure and a huge contribution to flight sim. Fixing things keeping it all going is a super human sacrifice for us all and I figger that Ikie is super man!

Thanks budy for all you do, hang in there and we all love ya...even when yur grumpy!
